What You'll Do
  • Design beautiful floral arrangements following in-store, event, and wire service recipes
  • Create custom floral designs to capture customer preferences, themes, and budgets
  • Consult directly with clients to ensure their vision is brought to life
  • Package and prepare all designs for safe and timely delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring work area
  • Collaborate with other designers and team members to ensure smooth shop operations
  • Provide exceptional service and uphold Centerville Florists' reputation for quality and care

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: Proven background in fresh-cut floral design (a portfolio is a plus)
  • Availability: Must be available on Saturdays and major floral holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, proms, and homecomings
  • Personality: Creative, dependable, and team-oriented - able to adapt to last-minute orders with grace and efficiency
  • Skills:
    • Excellent attention to detail and design balance
    • Strong communication and customer service abilities
    • Basic computer skills (Windows / Office); willing to learn floral POS systems
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30 lbs
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
