Job description

Sepax Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented student in the computer science field to join and assist our IT team. This student will work on day-to-day IT support and project activities. This is a part-time position based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware near the University of Delaware. Work schedule is 15-20 hours a week from Monday to Friday with a minimum of 3 hours in a day. This is an excellent opportunity for either a sophomore or junior college student looking for industrial experience around their course schedule.

Requirements:

·        College Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Computer Science or IT-related degree.

·        Basic familiarity with IT support, ERP system, web support, hardware, and databases.

·        Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

·        Organizing and Prioritizing skills.

·        Ability to work as a team.

·        Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or SQL used for system support.

·        A strong willingness to learn new systems and skills

·        Punctual and dependable with your schedule.

Responsibilities:

·        Assist in maintaining the company’s website and intranet.

·        Assist with ticketing system

·        Assist with the installing, configuring and upgrading computer systems (hardware, operating systems and software).

·        Assist in assigning employee accounts.

·        Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize departmental functions.

·        Assist with other administrative support as needed.

·        Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the office/desk space and cleanliness in work areas.

·        Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.
