Chai Pani Asheville is a James Beard Award recipient for Outstanding Restaurant (2022). We're proud of how far we've come and we're looking ahead at the next part of our journey. Pay is weekly.
About this role:Floor Support assists the serving team, ensuring that service keeps flowing smoothly. This includes running food, bussing and resetting tables, and assisting with sidework. While a vital support position, this is not a background role. Floor support are part of the hospitality experience and interact with guests, contributing to a seamless and mindblasting service experience. Weekly pay includes a $8.50/hour rate plus a generous tip-share program.
Responsibilities:
  • Be warm, friendly, and accommodating - providing exceptional service and hospitality for all guests
  • Deliver food and drinks to tables with warmth and care
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room during service
  • Support FOH team members by assisting with running sidework (silverware/glassware polishing, bar backing, spot sweeping)
  • Act as a liaison between customers and management
  • Always go the extra distance for the comfort and happiness of our customers

Requirements:
  • Operate in a highly organized and collaborative manner
  • Provide customers with MIND BLASTING hospitality
  • Be a reliable and supportive team player
  • Ability to take direction from peers and managers
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, e.g., dress code, punctuality, and professional attitude
  • Preserve and embrace company culture of compassion, integrity, generosity, and respect
  • Must be available on weekends
