Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, offering directions and support while documenting security-related concerns.
  • Support healthcare operations by communicating with site contacts during routine activities and/or urgent situations, and completing required logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
