Compensation: $32 to $36 per hour based on experience.
Start Date: ASAP
Requirements
  • Maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.

About Our Family
We're a busy, driven household in the Dallas area with demanding consulting careers and a calendar that's rarely quiet. With a hybrid schedule and regular travel, we're happiest when home runs like a well-orchestrated machine - calm, polished, and handled.
We're also in the middle of a major renovation, which means our days include a steady rotation of contractors, cleaners, landscapers, and deliveries. We're organized, detail-driven, and high-standard in the best way: things have a place, and we love when the home looks (and feels) put together.
And then there are our "boys"- two 100-pound Rhodesian Ridgebacks with big hearts and bigger energy. They're not aggressive, just large, lively, and deeply loved. They anchor our daily rhythm, and caring for them well is non-negotiable.
Our adult children and grandkids visit often, and we genuinely enjoy hosting - from casual family dinners to the occasional client gathering. Our home reflects who we are: intentional, welcoming, and well cared-for. Inclusivity and respect are core values here, and we're looking for someone who will become a trusted, steady extension of our household over time.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are sharp, proactive, and deeply detail-oriented. You notice when the books on the shelf are crooked and straighten them without being asked. You take initiative, solve problems independently, and know when to loop in the family versus handle something yourself. You read the room and communicate in a way that is effective and efficient -- never creating noise, always adding value.
You genuinely love dogs. You are comfortable managing two large, athletic dogs on walks and are not intimidated by their size. You bring good energy into the home and work with a quiet confidence that earns trust over time.
You are someone who thrives in active and dynamic environments. You have a schedule that offers natural flexibility. Weekend availability is a plus, as is the rare ability to travel with the family to watch the dogs when they head out of town.

  • Morning feeding daily; occasional evening feeding

  • Indoor plant care
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors as needed
  • Event and holiday prep: client dinners, family gatherings, and holidays
