Job description

Bilingual Administrative Assistant (English/Spanish) - Immigration Law Firm

De Wit Immigration Law is hiring a bilingual Administrative Assistant for our Miami Shores office. You will be the first person clients meet: investors and professionals from around the world who are building their careers and companies in the United States.

This role offers more than front-desk work. You will work directly with our managing attorney and legal team and learn how business immigration cases move from consultation to approval.

The role is in person at our Miami Shores office. We offer a full-time schedule (9 am to 6 pm) and a part-time afternoon schedule, at $18–$26 per hour.

Benefits include health insurance (the firm pays up to 99% of the employee's premium on our benchmark plan), vision coverage, a 401(k) with an employer match, 15 days of paid time off per year (prorated for part-time), 10 paid holidays, and a paid day off on your birthday.

Compensation:

$18 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients visiting or calling our office, in English and Spanish.
  • Support intake and onboarding for new clients, from first inquiry to signed engagement.
  • Manage scheduling, correspondence, and file maintenance for the legal team.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments for attorneys and staff.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and other financial documentation.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors.
  • Support the managing attorney and marketing team with outreach projects.
  • Help run our candidate pipeline as we grow the team.

Qualifications:
  • You are fully fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written. This is required.
  • You write clearly and speak confidently on the phone and in person.
  • You are organized, manage your time well, and meet deadlines with close attention to detail.
  • You work well independently and as part of a team.
  • You are comfortable learning new software and tools.
  • A bachelor's or associate's degree helps, but strong administrative experience or clear motivation to learn counts just as much.

About Company
