Job description

Reporting to the Leader of Human Resources, the PT Human Resources Representative handles the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. This PT position is assigned to work less than thirty (30) hours per week. The PT HR Representative is directly involved in the administration of the programs, policies, and procedures of the human resources department.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Facilitating the administration of employer-sponsored benefits.
  • Disseminating various HR communications.
  • Assisting with performance management and improvement systems.
  • Assisting in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory concerns and reporting.
  • Assisting with employee onboarding, development, and training processes.
  • Facilitates New Employee Orientation.
  • Documenting HR processes.
  • Performing office administration duties.
  • Assisting with employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health; and
  • Maintaining HRIS system
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of three to five years of recent and related HR experience OR combination of education and relevant experience
  • Knowledge of human resources laws and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience with digital technology, social media, HRIS software
  • Detail oriented with strong written, verbal communication, and public speaking skills
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel), and web searches.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively balancing multiple priorities simultaneously

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations
Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by Shaw; PHR preferred
