Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Administrator with a strong background in government contracting. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage the execution of HR initiatives, policies, while navigating the complexities of government contracting requirements in collaboration with our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal regulations, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and managing employee relations with the context of government contracts.
Duties
  • Support the management and administration of our benefits program, ensuring that our team members have access to essential resources.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training initiatives, including employee development, compliance training, and other programs.
  • Contribute to performance management processes, including performance reviews and addressing employee needs.
  • Collaborate with the management team to foster a positive employee culture aligned with organizational mission and values.
  • Utilize HR technology platforms for tasks such as onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Assist in maintaining the Employee Handbook, ensuring its relevance and compliance.
  • Work closely with the staffing team on position descriptions, compensation analysis, and offer letters.
  • Perform other assigned HR duties as it relates to government contracting.
  • Review, approve, or reject employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance, communicating corrections as needed.

Qualifications
Required education and experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, are preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR, are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on government contracting.
  • Basic knowledge of federal regulations, including OFCCP and EEO compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to perform the role.

Salary Range
Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available.
