What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, behavioral health concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity in accordance with site policies, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
