Job Summary:
Rodgers & Rodgers Consulting, LLC is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis! This role involves conducting one-time evaluations for veterans and other military personnel to support Compensation and Pension (C&P) assessments. This position does not involve prescribing or treatment; rather, it focuses on gathering medical history, performing examinations, and completing computer-based reports. At Rodgers & Rodgers Consulting, we are committed to fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment that emphasizes work-life balance and personal well-being.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations tailored to each case.
  • Review patient medical history and analyze case evidence files to extract relevant information.
  • Complete detailed reports associated with Veterans Compensation and Pension Exams.
  • Collaborate effectively with management, support team members, and partner organizations.
  • Utilize computer-based tools for examinations, reporting, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Certification as a Physician Assistant.
  • Preferred: Previous experience conducting Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams.
  • Previous experience in primary care is also preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in general medical practice.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical proficiency with computers and related software.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
