Join the Indiana University Health Schwarz Cancer Center - Medical Oncology Ambulatory Clinic, where RNs deliver compassionate, patient-centered oncology care in a collaborative academic environment. This part-time, day-shift triage role is scheduled every Thursday and Friday, managing patient calls ranging from medication refills to oncologic emergencies, while also assisting with FMLA paperwork, order entry, and other delegated clinical tasks. Build meaningful, long-term patient relationships while supporting continuity of care within a nationally recognized health system.
Clinic Hours: 8am-4:30pm
Qualifications:
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
