Job Description
The Health Services Management program invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach core or elective courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs. For more information about the MHA curriculum: https://health.laverne.edu/mha/curriculum/
This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time, temporary assignments on an as-needed basis. Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice. Applications are accepted year-round and will remain in the pool. Instructional periods run 8 weeks. Fall Semester Session I begins August 18. Fall Session II begins October 20. Spring Semester Session I begins February 3. Spring Semester Session II begins April 7.
Required Qualifications
  • A Masters degree in the field or relevant to health services management
  • Experience working in health services management, public health, or related fields/specialties.
  • Experience teaching students from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications
  • A doctorate or Ph.D. in the field relevant to the discipline or curriculum
  • Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
  • Evidence of strong teaching at the college or university level
