Job description

Status: Part-Time FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Group Facilitator is responsible for running weekly group sessions emphasizing healthy lifestyles and positive behaviors in the home, school, and the community. Facilitator will have experience with group intervention for young people coupled with an ability to relate to youth and families reflecting diverse cultures and ethnicity. Will work with program directors and leaders to ensure that the needs of participants are addressed through selected curriculum or developed content.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in group facilitation or a similar role.
  • Experience working in or related to selected instructional topics.
  • Creative and resourceful approach to planning and conducting group activities.
  • Knowledge of group dynamics and techniques for fostering participation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts within group settings.

Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
