Job description

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Receptionist fosters connections among residents, team members, and visitors, creating positive first impressions through in-person, phone, and electronic interactions. They ensure all visitors adhere to the visitor management system and wear name tags while also coordinating assistance for individuals' needs, alongside providing administrative and sales support to the leadership team and Community. 

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Coordinate incoming calls. 

  • Greeting visitors and residents warmly and direct them appropriately. 

  • Support Office Manager with required administrative tasks. 

  • Assist with resident maintenance requests. 

  • Manage transportation schedule. 

  • Ensure a constant stock of brochures, welcome packets, and related materials is readily available. 

  • Supervisory Responsibility: None. 

Education & Experience:   

  • Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Experience in customer service and working within an office environment preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:   

  • Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means. 

  • Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities. Proficient in multitasking, prioritization, and demonstrating excellent time management skills. 

  • Comfortable with technology and proficient in various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google, and others. 

  • Ability to schedule, provide follow-up and assist others with a professional customer service demeanor.Â
