Direct Support Professional (DSP) -Gaming Room

Location: Warsaw, IN, USA
Hourly Rate: $17.18 - $19.00 (including a $1.82 weekend shift differential)
Type: Part-Time

Job Summary:
Cardinal Services is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Direct Support Professional to lead and support gaming-based activities for adults with disabilities. This position is ideal for someone passionate about video games, technology, and teaching other in a fun, supportive environment. Qualified candidates should be patient, dependable, and willing to train and mentor individuals of varying abilities within the world of gaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and exploring a variety of gaming platforms and genres
  • Teaching safe social platform interactions and expectations
  • Encouraging social interaction, teamwork, and skill development
  • Supporting individuals in building confidence and independence through gaming
  • Creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
  • Supportive personality with a strong work ethic.
  • No previous experience required; we offer comprehensive training.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to safely transport individuals and work in a Human Services setting with favorable background screens.
