Job description

Position Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming calls and forwarding them in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner. This position is also responsible for supplying accurate information to callers, greeting and announcing visitors in a professional manner.
Essential Job Duties
  • Answer and forward all incoming telephone calls in an accurate, friendly, professional and prompt manner,
  • Supply accurate information to callers and relays telephone messages when necessary,
  • Greet and announce visitors,
  • Ensure messages left in the general mailbox are handled appropriately and updates the main office voice mail greeting for after hours and non-workday calls,
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing office mail and packages, distributes incoming faxes, and handle requests for supplies and other tasks in a timely manner,
  • File and verify overnight air-bills and invoices for all packages,
  • Maintain the office calendar for conference room reservations,
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required,
  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs.
