Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Possess experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva.
  • Demonstrate
    • ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
    • strong interpersonal and customer service skills while interacting professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Be reliable, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Summary of Duties:
Student employment provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while supporting campus programs and services.
In this postion, the student will:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Office of Student Life by providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Answer and route telephone calls, provide information and referrals, and assist with daily office operations while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive student records and documentation.
  • Support campus resources by monitoring the SORCE Room, Meditation Room, Zen Den, Veterans Lounge, and serving as the receptionist for the Office of Ohioans with Disabilities.
  • Maintain shared spaces, coordinate mail distribution, stock office and coffee bar supplies, and assist with general administrative tasks and problem resolution.
  • Support Food Pantry operations by receiving and organizing inventory, stocking shelves, assisting with food deliveries and student order pickups, collecting campus food donations, and maintaining accurate inventory to ensure efficient service to students.
