JOB TITLE: Server

DIVISION: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: RestaurantManager

LOCATION: Food and Beverage

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal Hourly

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Server is responsible for setting up the restaurant, taking orders from and making recommendations to guests, running food, bussing tables, and creating an all around great dining experience for guests.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take food and beverage orders from guests
  • Be knowledgeable about the restaurant menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests' questions
  • Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware
  • Answer phones
  • Make reservations
  • Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers when needed
  • Complete additional tasks as needed
  • Close down and clean the restaurant and prepare it for food service the next day
