Job description

Who We Are:
Crafty's mission is to help companies craft better workplaces by providing the services and technology to deliver a modern, comprehensive food & beverage program for their employees, no matter where they work. After operating with a vertically integrated supply chain (i.e., directly fulfilling orders from Crafty-operated distribution centers) in Chicago and the Bay Area, our team launched a third party fulfillment model that has rapidly scaled our coverage into over 25 markets globally, in just a year's time.
At Crafty, we have a diverse, high-powered team, composed of folks in technology, supply chain operations, field operations, sales, account management, and more. Our workplace is dynamic, fast-paced, and just plain fun; we pride ourselves in having an amazing mix of humans who make up our team!
The Role:
New York City, NY
Crafty's Food & Beverage Associates are the face of our in-office Concierge pantry program. They are the human element and the friendly face that leads client-site execution on a daily basis; supporting the site's product merchandising, inventory management & order replacement, in addition to equipment management.
This is a high-energy role for people who derive joy from a meticulously organized shelf and positive energy from being around people. Crafty is looking for an Associate whose responsibilities will include:
  • Merchandising: Take pride in your spaces by owning client's office kitchens & pantries and highly organized storage rooms, complete expiration checks and product rotations as needed
  • Customer Service: With support from your manager, engage with our clients and other Crafty team members onsite, delivering the highest quality service
  • Maintenance + Inventory: Perform routine maintenance on machines (such as coffee & kegerators), quality control checks, and completion of task lists (inventory, budget)
  • Communication: Communicate and escalate any location needs or safety concerns your manager, and accurately complete pre/post route paperwork

This role is a part-time, hourly role within Crafty. This role supports one of our New York City clients Monday through Friday by meeting the skill based qualifications below:
Required Attributes
  • Client Obsessed: Demonstrates a deep commitment to understanding and exceeding client needs and preferences, consistently showing eagerness and patience in all client interactions.
  • Effective Communicator: Demonstrates exceptional communication skills across interpersonal, verbal, and written formats to ensure clear, accurate, and positive interactions.
  • Operationally Sound: Ensures that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Reliable: Shows accountability, punctuality, and consistency in fulfilling commitments. Maintaining high service standards, fostering client trust, and contributing to operational efficiency.
  • Resilient: Quickly adapts to change, anticipates and addresses challenges with strong problem-solving skills, and maintains a positive attitude to ensure ongoing success.
    • Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the client site as needed
  • Collaborative:
    • Encompasses the ability to work effectively with others towards shared goals while providing and receiving constructive input to enhance individual and team performance
    • Demonstrates a team-oriented approach, emphasizing teamwork, supportive behavior, constructive conflict resolution, and a commitment to shared success.
  • Autonomy: Autonomy empowers client operations team members to act decisively, innovate, and continuously improve, ultimately leading to enhanced client relationships, operational efficiency, and overall success in their roles through site and task ownership.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail by meticulously overseeing merchandising, inventory management, and ownership responsibilities to ensure precision, consistency, and excellence in all aspects of operations.

Don't meet all of the qualifications? We want you to consider all of your skills and experiences - both professional and personal- that would make you successful in this role. Although some qualifications are essential, others can be attained with time. We believe diverse perspectives, upbringings, and knowledge contribute to our strong company culture and we encourage you to apply.
Role Goals
Goal: Achieve a 95% annual client retention rate by delivering top-tier on-site operations and exceptional client experiences, ensuring all client goals are met and exceeded, for at least 6 consecutive months by completing these initiatives:
  • Initiative #1: Task Ownership: Complete daily task lists with an average of 95% successful shift completion week over week as measured via Tableau on a monthly basis.
  • Initiative #2: Quality control: Maintain an average of 95% or greater on all quality control checks quarterly.
  • Initiative #3: Client Satisfaction: Assist in supporting all client requests on a weekly basis, working with your manager and the site point of contact.
