Position Summary
Position Summary:
The Information Technologies (IT)Applications Division is seeking a Programmer Analyst 1 to support theApplications Data Team and its expanding data initiatives. This role supportsdevelopment and maintenance of the enterprise data environment, with a focus onthe Unified Enterprise Data Warehouse and data integration efforts tied to theuniversity's ERP and analytics strategy.
This position works closely with thedata architect and data engineer to design, build, and support data pipelinesand warehouse structures. The role includes developing and enforcing standardprocesses for data validation across the data warehouse and all integrationprojects to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
The individual will assist with bringingdata from source systems into the data warehouse, support development effortson small to medium size projects, and help troubleshoot data issues acrossreporting and operational systems. The role also supports documentation oftechnical processes and contributes to ongoing improvements in data quality andgovernance.
The ideal candidate communicatesclearly, works well with technical teams, and handles multiple priorities. Theposition requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and theability to work independently and as part of a team. Participation in an on-callrotation within the Applications division is required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; at least 6 months of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience inthe following areas:
- Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server Database Management Systems (DBMS)
- SQL-DDL experience in creating and maintaining database objects
- SQL-DML experience in querying and inserting data into database objects
- Knowledge and/or experience with cloud service platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with different Microsoft Office applications:Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio
- Data Validation
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills (able to communicate ideas with senior personnel, other technical staff and customers)
- Providing customer support
- Providing technical support
