SUMMARY: Assists in providing safe transportation of pre-school and special needs students to and from designated locations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES . Other duties may be assigned.


Assists Driver and students in operation of lifts for wheelchairs and assisting disabled students.

Maintains good student conduct on the bus.

Secures special equipment that may accompany the student.

Is alert to any conditions in the loading and unloading area which present a danger to students.

Communicates in an appropriate fashion with students parents and employees.

Effectively and efficiently performs all assigned areas of responsibility.

Maintains appropriate appearance.

Ensures own regular and prompt attendance.

Effectively completes regular and other job performance criteria as assigned.

Promotes good public relations for the school district and community

Remains free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
