Job Purpose:
The Local Marketing Coordinator supports the local Direct operations in its reporting, creative, and administrative duties to promote WFG's products and services and support of the sales staff. This position reports directly to the local Direct Operations and works hand-in-hand with the Marketing teams.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Engage in WFG company culture that emphasizes engagement in our 4 Cs, quality of work and high performance.
  • Daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
  • Work with the local sales team and Marketing to create and manage campaigns.
  • Write content for emails, flyers, and social media and work closely with internal stakeholders, creative team and vendors.
  • Support the marketing team in organizing projects and assist local sales teams with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Compile data and produce monthly marketing reports.
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information.
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events, webinars and traditional or digital campaigns.
  • Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts.
  • Communicate directly with agents when needed.
  • Manage and respond to incoming email requests.
  • Processing of divisional invoices.
  • Account management (adding/removing users) for third party products/services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant.
  • Good understanding of marketing principles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Light copywriting skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, partners and customers both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-organizing and ability to remain motivated.
  • Adaptability to learn quickly, multi-task, and retain information specific to the business domain.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Highly detail-oriented to manage multiple event calendars and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word. Adobe experience.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
