Descriptions:
The senior copywriter is responsible for developing compelling, data-driven content that engages readers, optimizes user experiences, drives conversions, and communicates competitive advantages to our web and app business and consumer audiences.
This person collaborates closely with the marketing and product teams as well as copywriters, editors, designers, producers, and studio leads.
Research target audiences, industry, and competitors to understand pain points, industry trends, and opportunities to differentiate content from the competition.
Bring big ideas to the table-ideate and think outside the box to innovate relevant, engaging, and forward-thinking content strategies.
Follow copywriting best practices and understand audience behaviors and needs.
Write copy for landing pages, banners, and ads and curate learn-page articles using SEO principles to improve website visibility and ranking.
Grow and leverage a deep understanding of AT&T brand principles and guidelines, ensuring consistent voice and messaging across projects.
Work closely with brand and legal teams implementing feedback as needed.
Collaborate with fellow copywriters and copy editors to elevate the quality of work.
Successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communications, advertising, or similar.
Five+ years' experience copywriting for digital marketing (web content preferred).
Portfolio featuring digital marketing copy (customer journeys, learn articles, landing pages, hero banners, ads, etc.).
Skilled writer who can effectively persuade target audiences to action; connect with consumers through authentic, conversational copy; and simplify technical jargon for broader understanding
Adept at developing copy that works in harmony with design to deliver a cohesive message.
Experience writing for brand-specific campaigns for business and/or consumer audiences.
Knowledgeable in digital marketing fundamentals and industry standards.
Excellent communicator who is solutions-oriented with strong diplomacy skills.
Critical thinker who is detail-oriented and executes work quickly and accurately.
Strong affinity for process and proactively anticipating needs, problems, and opportunities.
Proficient in Chicago Manual of Style.
Experience with Workfront (or similar PMS) a plus.
