Location: RMC Facility - Lake Butler, Florida Position: Part-time Pharmacist – Sterile Compounding & Pharmacy ServicesThis position combines sterile compounding expertise with clinical pharmacy services, regulatory compliance, and leadership in a fast-paced environment supporting infusion and specialty pharmacy patients. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Essential ResponsibilitiesInterpret, verify, and process physician medication orders.Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>.Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations.Review medication profiles for safety, allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff.Maintain cleanroom, aseptic technique, and environmental monitoring standards.Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and continuous improvement.Maintain compounding, batch, quality, and regulatory documentation.Assist with inventory management, controlled substances, and pharmacy operations.Support development of pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff training.Participate in staff meetings and conferences.Adhere to regulatory and company compliance, including OSHA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Clinical Solutions Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Policies and Procedures. Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:Principles, practices, standards, and terminology related to the practice of pharmacy.Drug properties, usage, and the effects of drug interactions.Sterile compounding and dispensing pharmaceutical drugs, medications, and supplies.Adherence to pharmacy policies, methods, specifications, and procedures.Support staff training and development.Evaluation of drug therapy against established criteria.Support development of program policy manuals, rules, and program monitoring methodologies, techniques, and plans.Support development and maintenance of a perpetual inventory control system.Ongoing evaluation of pharmacy methods, procedures, and services.Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments.Effective verbal and written communication.Building and maintaining effective working relationships.Oversight and coordination of clinical pharmacy services, including drug information, disease assessment, and medication management.Minimum QualificationsActive Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.Minimum one (1) year of experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.Strong communication and leadership skills.Preferred ExperienceHome infusion, hospital, or oncology infusion pharmacy experience preferred.Management experience preferred.
