As a rehab therapy aide, you will assist the therapists in the clinic with appropriate activities, prepare equipment, and maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the physical clinic space for daily patient activities. This is an ideal position for students getting their education in a medical-related field.

Responsibilities
Therapy Aide performs patient related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to:
  • Performs all duties in accordance with the rules and regulations regarding non-licensed personnel as outlined in the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Practice Acts.
  • Assists therapist or front office staff with clerical duties including handling phone calls and inquiries, greeting and directing patients, confirmation of appointments, mailing tasks, filing and other duties as requested
  • Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition, including cleaning tables, equipment, assisting with laundry and maintaining supplies.
  • Performs other duties as requested

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Some college experience in related healthcare field preferred
  • Prior experience working within a physical therapy setting is preferred
  • Prefer candidate to be enrolled in PT/OT/ST program
