Meeting Street is seeking a Teacher Assistant for the Early Learning Center for 25 hours per week.
Duties:
  • Provides assistance to the teacher in the classroom in regard to daily activities, cleanliness, supervision, curriculum and assessment.
  • Partners with families to ensure high quality care and education for young children.
  • Maintains a clean, organized and child-friendly learning environment in accordance with state regulations.
  • Always maintains supervision of children (indoor/outdoor) using accurate licensing ratios.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 12+ College credits in Early Childhood Education from an accredited university required, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred per program accreditors
  • Valid CPR and first aid training/certification
  • A minimum of 1 year working experience with young children, birth to age 5.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday from 12PM to 5:00PM.
