Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex troubleshooting and maintenance on cellular towers.
  • Be ready to address emergency response efforts for network outages and infrastructure failures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, FCC), and company protocols.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to climb up to 200 ft. towers while wearing approximately 30lbs of safety equipment
  • Pass all safety and tower climbing certifications and/or ensure all certifications are kept up to date.
  • Responsible for safety and wellbeing of 2-person crew
  • Operation of capstan hoist
  • PIM, Sweep, and Fiber testing experience required
  • Installing and wiring hybrid cabling into Raycaps
  • Daily completion of JSA’s
  • Crafting and implementing proven rescue plan
  • Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of company vehicle
  • Ensuring all equipment is available and ready for daily assignments
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Pass DOT Exam

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in tower climbing, RF installation, or telecommunications maintenance.

Certification Requirements:

  • OSHA 10
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Competent Climb & Rescue
  • Competent Rigging
  • NWSA TTT-1
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • RF Awareness

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of RF systems, fiber optics, and electrical components.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network equipment from major carriers (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.).
  • Ability to rig a tower without guidance.

Problem-Solving:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding the workings and typical layout of a tower site.
  • Ability to learn and understand new equipment as it is deployed into the field.

Pay Range:33.00-40 Hr. Based on experience
