Their responsibilities often include managing schedules, handling correspondence, arranging meetings, and performing various office tasks. Working part time allows them to offer flexibility to employers who may not require or cannot support a full-time assistant. Part time executive assistants must be highly organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. They may work in-person or remotely depending on the company's needs.

How does a part time executive assistant typically manage communication and workflow across varying schedules?

As a part-time executive assistant, managing communication and workflow efficiently is crucial, especially when you and your executive may not always be in the office at the same time. Regular check-ins, even if brief or virtual, are also vital for maintaining alignment and supporting the executive effectively.
