Experienced Live-in Caregivers needed ASAP!

Griswold Home Care in New Castle County Delaware is calling all experienced & compassionate caregivers to apply to join our amazing team as a part time Caregiver in all surrounding areas in New Castle County!  We have immediate openings!!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Valid Drivers License AND personal vehicle in good working order with current car insurance. (car is not required for Live-in cases)
  • At least 2 years of PROFESSIONAL caregiving experience either with another Home Care Agency or in a Facility. 
  • Must be comfortable preforming personal care and grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping and errands with client.
  • Positive attitude, RELIABLE, great communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
