Position Overview
A Roadshow Setup Crew Member supports MDX Global's promotional events by handling the physical setup and teardown of displays and equipment for our 10-day roadshows. This role is part-time, on-call position and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and can adapt to changing schedules.


Primary Responsibilities
Loading and unloading: Move equipment, products, and display materials into and out of event venues.
Setup: Assemble and arrange booths, display tables, signage, and promotional displays according to specific company instructions.
Teardown: Safely and efficiently dismantle displays at the end of each roadshow, pack materials, move display pallets, and prepare items for transport.
Inventory: Take & submit accurate inventory counts; restock as needed
Maintenance: Inspect displays for any damage and repair, replace, or reset display boxes as needed to maintain professional appearance
On-site support: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the setup area, and assist with any last-minute adjustments during setup or teardown.
Communication: Maintain professional communication with vendors and MDX employees, to ensure strong ongoing working relationships with all involved. This includes any and all communication during set-up/tear-down process, etc.


Required Skills and Qualifications
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
Dependability and teamwork skills to work effectively with other crew members.
Attention to detail to ensure displays are set up according to company standards.
Flexibility to work irregular hours (evenings, weekends) as roadshow schedules vary.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel to event sites.


Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of materials (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work indoors and in varying conditions.


Pay Range
This position is compensated on a piece-rate basis
