Job description

This position assists with answering the phones and assisting members with various inquiries.  Will also welcome and process new members. Requires previous experience in customer service. Must have a pleasant personality, strong follow-up on unresolved tasks, willingness to research answers or problem-solve, and must possess Excel skills. You must be able to work independently and with a team.

Will rely on direction and judgment to accomplish goals. Will perform a variety of other membership and administrative tasks, such as coordinating new member orientation and supporting annual invoice preparation.  Will perform other administrative tasks that support non-accounting areas of the business, such as maintaining a small inventory, website input, support of the continuing education program, assistance with event planning, and maintaining general office supplies. Will work under general supervision and report to the CEO.

Compensation:

$15 - $16 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Act as a point of contact for members and respond in a timely manner

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Must have excellent follow-up

  • Must be able to problem-solve

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Work with an AMS

  • Able to work independently and with a team

  • Order office supplies as needed


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred
  • Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time in an orderly manner
  • Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication
  • Customer service & administrative experience is required
