Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community in McLean, VA, is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Assistant to support our Assisted Living, Long-Term Care (LTC), and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) programs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with older adults, has a creative spirit, and is passionate about planning and leading meaningful activities that enrich daily life and foster a strong sense of community.
Requirements
  • Experience in activities, event planning, hospitality, recreation, or a related field required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage residents and build relationships
  • Energetic, creative, and dependable with a positive attitude
  • Ability to lead and facilitate group activities confidently
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player with strong time management skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
