Job Summary
Concessions Cook - Lumen Field
Become a part of the Levy team at Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, OL Reign, and world-class concerts and events. As a Concessions Cook, you will be responsible for preparing concession menu items during stadium events, operating kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring high food quality standards and in creating excellent guest experiences. This is a part-time, event-based, union position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handling the cooking and packaging of food product which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Follow direction from supervisors and support team success
  • Maintains quality and production standards on all menu items.
  • Maintains knowledge of menu items specific to location
  • Adapt quickly to menu changes, special requests, and event demands
  • Monitors portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
  • Maintain proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature controls
  • Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and ovens
  • Fosters a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
  • Keep kitchen, prep, and service areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Experience working as a cook in a fast-food environment or similar experience is preferred
  • Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer and chef knife
  • Ability to effectively communicate with managers and other team members
  • Willingness to handle and serve all varieties of food (including, but not limited to poultry, pork, beef, dairy, etc.)
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Participate in concessions tip pool
  • Ability to complete digital onboarding materials and electronic employment verification
  • Black non-slip shoes required when working
  • Possess & maintain valid Washington State Food Worker Card
