A Part Time Epic Trainer is a healthcare IT professional who provides training on the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system to healthcare staff, but works on a part-time basis rather than full-time. They deliver instruction, develop training materials, and support end-users in learning how to effectively use Epic software. Part Time Epic Trainers may work for hospitals, clinics, or consulting firms and often tailor their schedules to meet organizational needs or specific training projects. Their role is critical in ensuring that staff are proficient with Epic, which helps improve patient care and operational efficiency.
