911 Hazmat Cleanup, LLC is a Crisis Environmental Risk Management Firm specializing in biohazard remediation, environmental risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. This position is not a standard cleaning role. Our team is responsible for restoring safe, habitable environments following traumatic and hazardous events, and we are seeking disciplined, reliable, and professional individuals who can operate in high-risk conditions while maintaining strict safety and documentation standards.
As a Crisis Environmental Risk Management Specialist, you will perform biohazard remediation in environments involving unattended deaths, trauma scenes, hoarding conditions, human and animal waste contamination, and infectious disease exposure. You will be responsible for executing our 6-Step Bioremediation Forensic Cleaning Process, utilizing proper personal protective equipment including respirators and Tyvek suits, and operating specialized equipment such as air scrubbers, HEPA vacuum systems, and fogging or electrostatic application tools. This role also requires maintaining detailed documentation, including photos and safety logs, ensuring all job sites meet compliance and sanitation standards, and assisting with vehicle readiness, equipment maintenance, and warehouse organization. You will represent the company with professionalism, discretion, and empathy in sensitive and high-stress situations.
This position requires working in biohazard and contaminated environments under physically demanding conditions while wearing full PPE for extended periods. Candidates must be able to lift 50 to 60 pounds, follow strict safety protocols, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving skills, and accountability. A valid drivers license and a clean driving record are required, and applicants must reside within one hour of Modesto, California. This role offers starting pay at $20 per hour and up based on experience, with part-time scheduling and opportunities for advancement. The company provides paid training and certifications, including IICRC, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, and CDPH compliance, along with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and coverage for lodging and meals during travel when required. All personal protective equipment, tools, and uniforms are provided. This is a purpose-driven position for individuals who take pride in performing meaningful work that protects public health, reduces environmental risk, and helps families and property owners during critical situations.
