Job Description Summary*Pay: $15.16 per hour
The District Attorney's office has part-time, internships available for law school students - Spring, Summer and Fall.
Will perform professional entry level legal work, under the Student Practice Act, which may include responsibility for criminal prosecution of misdemeanors and traffic offenses in County Court.

Job Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

Attend arraignments, pre-trial conferences, and sentencing conferences in assigned areas.
Prepare and present jury trials and trials to the Court
Assist County Court Deputy in trials, as required.
Assist citizens by phone or in office.
Perform within the authorized practice of the Student Practice Act.
Reliable, predictable attendance during assigned work hours.

Effective and professional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze and process information effectively and efficiently.
Ability to be professional and composed while interacting with others in the legal process.
Ability to utilize technology effectively and learn new technology skills.
