Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Part-time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $30,000-$35,000 Annual

  • Weekday Schedule – Work Monday through Friday. No scheduled weekends. Hours will work around school schedule. Morning or afternoon.
Your Role as a Maintenance Technician:
  • General Maintenance amp; Repairs – Perform repairs, including plaster/sheetrock/drywall, carpentry, painting, interior/exterior doors, plumbing (unblocking sinks/toilets, repairing leaks), and basic electrical repairs.
  • Organization – Ensure proper use and storage of tools.
  • Installation amp; Assembly – Replace light bulbs, ballasts, fixtures, and emergency lighting systems; install bulletin boards, pictures, and signage.
  • Furniture amp; Ceilings– Assist with moving furniture, replacing ceiling tiles, and cleaning up after your assigned work.
  • Emergency Support – Maintain inventory of tools and equipment, respond to after-hours emergency calls, and travel to regional locations as needed.
  • Administrative Duties – Complete work logs, work order status forms, and time sheets.
  • Communication - Be able to communicate with the Regional Director of Facilities on work requests.
  • Customer Service- Be able to work around kids and staff with a level of customer service to best represent the schools.
  • Other Duties – Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of experience in general repair services
  • Must have a valid driver amp;#39;s license
  • Basic knowledge of drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
