Job Summary
Provide online, classroom and lab instruction in competencies for Electrical Technology classes including but not limited to Electric Motor Controls, Rotating Machinery, Transformers, Programmable Logic Circuits, and/or the National Electric Code.
Job Duties:
โ€ข Instruction includes providing an understanding of electrical devices and various electrical circuits, applying the electric code to all types of installations, and teaching how various circuits and systems function.
โ€ข These duties include the evaluation and supervision of students, working collaboratively with faculty and staff.
โ€ข Organizes instruction in classrooms and laboratories as stated in our course outlines, learning objectives, competency assessments, and instructional materials such as textbooks, instruction sheets, and/or electronic resources available.
โ€ข Develops course curriculum, course handouts, lectures, lab exercises, and presentations prior to scheduled course times.
โ€ข Demonstrate current knowledge required by curriculum for the electrical industry including construction, maintenance, and industrial applications.
โ€ข Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to provide education and supervision to students.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree and related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Kentucky State Electrician License or Master Electrician License
