The anticipated starting salary range for Baltimore, M.D. based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.00/Hr. - $15.00/Hr.

Overview:

Audacy in Baltimore is currently looking to fill the position of part time (up to 25 hours/week) Board Operator.


What You'll Do:

This is a critical role in the on-air execution of the station. Board Operators may also be responsible for monitoring and log keeping for an additional radio station.

  • Run the control board
  • Follow station format, arrange and play commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs
  • Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
  • Help administer contests, answer listener calls for live shows, operate satellite receivers, take transmitter meter readings, conduct EAS tests, etc.

About You

Required and Preferred:

  • 1+ years experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old to apply
  • Adept at digital editing, board operating, recording, network and HTML/Digital web experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
