  • Description
Retail Technology & E-Commerce Specialist — BLAZE POS
    Remote | Part-Time / Contract
    Compensation: $25–$38/hour, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Retail Technology & E-Commerce Specialist to help us fully configure, optimize and manage our retail technology ecosystem.
We currently use BLAZE Retail POS and want to take full advantage of the platform beyond basic point-of-sale functionality.
Our goal is to create a streamlined, easy-to-manage retail ecosystem where our POS, inventory, ecommerce, customer mobile app, loyalty program, marketing, delivery and reporting all work together seamlessly.
    What You’ll Be Responsible For
    Ideal Candidate
We are especially interested in candidates with direct, hands-on BLAZE experience.
Experience with any of the following is highly preferred:
This Is NOT a Traditional IT Position
We are not looking for someone to simply troubleshoot computers or provide general technical support.
We need someone who understands how retail technology, ecommerce, inventory, CRM, loyalty and marketing automation work together and can actually configure these systems.
We also are not looking for someone whose experience is limited to social media management or general digital marketing.
    Our Goal
We want to create one connected ecosystem:
    POS → Inventory → E-Commerce → Mobile App → Loyalty → Marketing → Delivery → Reporting
Once implemented, our management team should be able to operate the system confidently without needing outside assistance for basic day-to-day functions.
    Compensation
$25–$38/hour, depending on experience and demonstrated expertise.
This will begin as a part-time/contract position focused on implementation and optimization, with the potential for ongoing work maintaining, improving and expanding our retail technology systems.
Candidates who can demonstrate direct experience with multiple parts of the BLAZE ecosystem will receive priority consideration.
    When Applying
    Please answer the following questions:
Important: General website development or digital marketing experience alone is not sufficient. We are specifically seeking someone with strong retail technology experience, with BLAZE experience highly preferred.
If you know BLAZE inside and out and enjoy turning complicated retail systems into simple, efficient operations, we’d like to hear from you.

    • Set up push notifications and app promotions
    • Improve delivery and curbside ordering workflows
    • Configure staff roles and permissions
    • Build useful management reports and KPI dashboards
