Position: carpentry, drywall, & paint technician
Paul Davis seeking a full-time or part-time skilled technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in residential remodeling. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
What does a carpentry, drywall, & paint technician with Paul Davis do?
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, metal studs, drywall, and other materials.
  • Complete all aspects of general home improvements/remodels including, but not limited to, drywall, paint, tiling, install flooring (hard wood, LVP, carpet, etc.), and general carpentry.
  • Fabricate custom components as needed for specific projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
  • Skilled in fabricating custom components using various materials.
  • Improves the community by serving others
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations utilizing internal office systems

Skills Desired of Team Member:
  • 3+ years minimum experience in general carpentry
  • Experienced with drywalling, tiling, painting, flooring (various materials), and other general home improvements/remodeling.
  • Understanding of Maryland Residential Building Codes (IRC 2021)
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the site
  • Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level and ensure client satisfaction at all times.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
