Job Summary: To Schedule and dispatch field personnel for services outside the place of business.
Education/Experience/Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, as well as systems such as word processing, filing and records management, office procedures and terminology
  • Knowledge of various methods for describing the location including their physical locations, relationships, and characteristics.
Essential Job Functions
  • Receive and/or prepare work orders, according to client specifications.
  • Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from technicians, supervisors, and field inspectors, using telephone or other electronic communication.
  • Route or assign workers to appropriate location, according to client request, specifications, or needs and type of personal required.
  • Record and maintain files regarding client requests, work or services performed, and other dispatch information per company guidelines
  • Confers with client or supervising personnel regarding questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
  • Scans in field dailies
Physical Activities and Requirements:
  • Perform general physical activities such as the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist and reach out with body, arms and/or legs for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Repetitive arm and hand motion, Fine finger manipulation in use of computer.
  • Hearing, seeing and talking, especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important information accurately, or quickly
