Position Summary:
The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers. This role serves as a representative of the company during deliveries and requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The Driver ensures products are transported and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining positive customer interactions.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops, industrial facilities, and other customer locations.
  • Verify and load customer orders accurately based on invoices or packing slips.
  • Unload deliveries at customer sites, ensuring products are delivered in good condition.
  • Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery records as required.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Assist in warehouse duties when needed (e.g., stocking, picking, packing).
  • Follow all DOT and company safety regulations and policies
  • Provide excellent service and represent Colours, Inc. in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties within store as assigned during driver downtime.

Requirements
Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful
