Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for our 4-bed residential facilities serving adults with developmental disabilities.

This is a hands-on nursing position in a home-like setting where you will play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we serve.

Schedule

  • Saturdays & Sundays
  • 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 20 paid hours per weekend

Responsibilities

  • Monitor resident health status and provide nursing oversight
  • Review physician orders and medication records
  • Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care
  • Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, regional center staff, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Train and support direct care staff regarding health-related needs and medication procedures
  • Complete nursing documentation and health-related reports
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities
  • Participate in care planning and health-related meetings

Qualifications

  • Current California LVN license in good standing
  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
