This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Personal Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a fun and imaginative young boy who loves dinosaurs and Godzilla. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, being active, and creating engaging experiences that support growth, independence, and self-regulation.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 supervision to ensure safety and well-being
• Support the child in developing self-regulation skills in various settings
• Attend and actively participate in summer programs and field trips
• Plan and implement fun, creative, and engaging activities tailored to his interests
• Assist with transitions and daily routines
• Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment
• Provide transportation to and from activities/programs as needed
Required Qualifications
• Valid driver's license
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a caregiver background check
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Strong patience, communication, and problem-solving skills
