Job description

Part Time - 20-25 Hours per Week

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Operations Coordinator to support our daily operations. This role is responsible for coordinating equipment, vehicles, materials, facilities, and operational support functions to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills, construction industry awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport lifts and other equipment to job sites as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate equipment rentals for active projects.
  • Manage maintenance and service schedules for company vehicles and equipment.
  • Coordinate regular vehicle inspections and maintain related records.
  • Manage equipment and vehicle GPS tracking systems.
  • Coordinate parts returns and restocking for active projects.
  • Issue and track company power tools, ladders, and related equipment.
  • Order conduit and miscellaneous stock materials as inventory levels become low and accurately allocate job costs.
  • Prepare and issue warranty letters upon project completion.
  • Maintain and coordinate routine building and grounds maintenance activities.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of company events.
  • Support field and office operations with additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • Construction knowledge and industry experience preferred.
  • Facility and equipment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, within a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist others as needed.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry ladders, equipment, and materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, and stooping throughout the workday.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the work of the trade without presenting a hazard to themselves or others.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.

Work Environment

This role operates in both office and field environments and may require travel to local job sites, warehouses, and vendor locations. The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing project and operational needs.
