Job description

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to support daily information technology operations and assist with cybersecurity-related documentation. This role is ideal for a current student pursuing an IT-related degree who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.

This is a part time, onsite position located in Huntsville, AL with an estimated 24-30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform user onboarding tasks in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops and laptops, including hardware and software installation

  • Conduct routine printer and copier maintenance

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of Cybersecurity policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support IT documentation efforts

  • Provide general IT support as needed to support business operations

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to gather and analyze information, identify problems, and propose solutions

  • Basic knowledge of personal computers, IT terminology, and common software applications

  • Ability to prepare clear documentation and written instructions

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft 365

  • Familiarity with Windows-based desktop and server operating systems
