Job description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Part-Time Data Entry Clerk opportunity at NDX Affinity located in Louisville, KY.  

The regular scheduled hours for this position are from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Able to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Clerk and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice cases
  • Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production. Packs and ships case for delivery through local source or national carrier
  • Performs the scheduling function for each case
  • Through LIS enter demographics and customer information
  • Print preference notes matching to case
  • Move case into production area
  • Invoices cases and assists with billing questions or issues
  • Scanning of paperwork for each case for electronic storage
  • Running, fulfilling and shipping daily customer fulfillments
  • Daily stocking of Shipping & Receiving supplies
  • Sort paperwork for scanning
  • Maintenance duties to include, but not limited to... Change soap in dispensers, Trash removal, Emptying boil out, changing sink traps in production
  • Customer service- outbound & inbound calls
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required: 

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

  • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some billing experience preferred

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Disinfectant process chemicals
  • Personal protective equipment as required
  • Office equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Repeated bending and kneeling
  • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
