Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

$24–25/hour
Part-Time | 20–25 hours/week | Flexible schedule


Our client is a growing, family-oriented company in Muskegon looking to add a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist. Responsibilities
  • Manage AR and collections activities for the sister company, including customer follow-up calls and payment collection
  • Document collection efforts and customer communication notes within the system
  • Assist with Accounts Payable processing in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Support weekly check mailing processes, including stuffing envelopes and preparing outgoing payments
  • Assist with inventory cost change processes and data entry for inventory price adjustments
  • Provide accounting support across multiple entities and LLCs
Qualifications
  • 1–2+ years of Accounts Receivable and collections experience required
  • Prior experience with high-volume transactions and customer accounts preferred
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience highly preferred (training available)
  • Advanced Excel skills are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible, fast-paced environment
