Job description

Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is looking to hire a Data Entry Specialist to provide administrative support in an office environment by way of performing a variety of support tasks for the office including handling confidential information and documents.

Responsibilities

The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.  Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

  • Input work request for C Projects
  • Create, consolidate, and update files and records
  • Update Service Contracts Branch (SCB) website
  • Perform data entry into various databases and spreadsheets
  • Reconcile and balance access to GFEBS on-line database
  • Retrieve, input and update Facilities Engineering Work Request (FEWRS)
  • Input Purchase Request (PR), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Miscellaneous Obligation Documents (MODs) and other various miscellaneous documents into the BOD Programing Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) database file 
  • Review audit, and correct internal DPW program codes, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Element of Resource (EORs) for system integrity. 
  • Assemble, compile, and organize data reports for monthly execution meetings, PBACs and GC briefings 
  • Input contract orders/Invoice, and MIGO transactions in GFEBS 
Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:  Organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, solid judgment and decision-making ability, takes initiative and is adaptable. A good working knowledge of the governing systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. Understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.

Clearance: Secret Clearance Preferred. Must be able to obtain a CAC. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education and Experience: This position requires at least two years' experience providing support at a high level. Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite. Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures. A good working knowledge of the governing systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

This federal government project is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). The hourly rate for this position is determined by the location where work is performed. In addition to hourly pay, positions subject to SCA are entitled to a health and welfare (H&W) payment, which may be adjusted based employee selection of company benefits in lieu of H&W.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00. The hourly rate displayed represents the typical rate for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
